Tutorial & Walkthrough for the Video Switcher in a Sony DFS-500

The Sony DFS-500 is a video switcher with built-in special effects that is ideal for live broadcasting or analog editing functions. It features four video inputs and each input has three different input options. The video switcher is compatible with Sony camcorders, live video cameras and any other cameras with S-Video, composite or component inputs.

Insert the appropriate cable into each input on the back of the main video processing device. The Sony DFS-500 has two components, the video input device and the video switcher with special-effect controls. A main plug runs from the video input device to the switcher controls. On the back of the input device are four labeled sections for video input. Go in order of inputs so it will be easier to keep track of them later. If you run S-Video cable into the device, you must use the XLR input to get audio, too.

Run your viewing monitor cable from the monitor to the "PGM Out" section of the video switcher. Run the cord from your preview monitor to the "Key Out" section of the video switcher. Set up the monitors so that the "Key Out" monitor is on the left and the "PGM Out" is on the right.

Use the serial cord to connect the video switcher to the control panel. Connect it into the "Control Panel" input on the lower right of the device.

Power on the control panel of the video switcher. Set yourself center of the video switcher so you have access to all the controls.

Set the fade pattern using the icon keypads on the right side of the screen. The icon shows the type of fade. When you select it, slowly move the fader up and down to see how the fade looks when transitioning.

Orbgames' popular driving title "Kamikaze Race" pits you in a high-speed race against an endless fleet of other vehicles. Since your car's brakes do not work, you cannot stop once you begin moving. To make sure that nothing stands in your way, you will have to keep a close eye on the way ahead. One way to remain mindful of the route amid the chaos of trucks and cars colliding all around you, is to place your cursor near the top of the screen and use it as a guide when steering.

While staying in one lane throughout a game of "Kamikaze Race" is a recipe for certain disaster, moving around a lot is not a good idea either. When you find a lane near the center that seems more or less free of traffic, stay there until you have to leave. When you do move, never move over more than two lanes at a time. Since your car accelerates at a constant pace, you will not be able to speed up and dodge cars that already occupy a lane when you swerve into it.

As if cars and semi trailers weren't enough, the makers of "Kamikaze Race" throw one more big obstacle your way: giant yellow school buses. As you progress through the game, you will notice an increasing number of these buses. The school buses take up more than twice the length of your car, and they are much wider. Their presence on the road makes executing lane changes and zooming between two occupied lanes more difficult. If you see a yellow bus, move as far away from it as you can.

How to Use a BA Crossover Patch for "Mega Man"

Download the B.A. Crossover Patch to enjoy a new version of the "Mega Man Battle Network 6" game that is a crossover between MMBN6 and "Mega Man Star Force." MMBN is a popular series of "Mega Man"-related games available on the Game Boy Advance. You can't play the patch directly on your Game Boy Advance but must instead play it with an emulator program on your computer. Download Visualboy Advance Emulator (see References) and the B.A. Crossover Patch. If the files are in an archived file state, extract the files with a file archiver application, such as WinRAR.

You may need to type "*" in the "File name:" box and press the "Enter" key to see the ".sa1" file. Angry Bird Update - Mine and Dine Released

Angry Birds never stop expanding. I am really starting to think that the developers at Rovio don't sleep. They are launching new things every day! This is great news for the general public, especially people like me. I am sure I spend at least an hour playing this game. With new updates and altogether new episodes, I am in luck.

It has been a while since Rovio had launched an Angry Bird update as it had been focusing all its attention on the other games, Angry Birds Rio & seasons. Now that they have an update, I am sure it will live up mine and many other fan's expectation.

The newest Angry Bird update is called Mine and Dine and actually it is a brand new episode in the game! It will be the 6th episode in the game. It takes place underground in a mine type of a setting and the graphics again are just brilliant. The pigs and birds will be in an underground setting and in the released pictures; they are all wearing mining hats, again an add to the absolute cuteness.

If you already own the game on your iPhone or play on android or even on chrome, the update is free. It is also rumored that along with a new episode there is also a new bird! There will also be new prizes, like some jewels. Another motivation for fans!

Rovio mobile has already submitted their game plan to Apple and in just a couple of days, it should be approved and readily available for the general public! The however is not exact release date yet, so let's just wait and watch. But soon, you will be able to play this game and hopefully slay pigs until you advance to the last level!

This game will be available for Palm, iPhone, iPod, iPad and even some Nokia phones!

Rovio can hope to see a phenomenal number of downloads once the game has released, may be something like 1 million downloads in less than 24 hours! The game was said to be released on June 16th, 2011.

***UPDATE**** I just ordered my Angry Bird update today and I've never felt happier. It was a free update because I already owned the full version of the game. The graphics as usual were amazing. This is a game I really recommend.
